This place has acceptable food and a salsa bar. The view from this place is well worth giving it a try as you're looking at the c water from every seat. I had chicken tacos, beans and rice. It was all pretty good, but maybe suggest adding a liquid smoke to the beans. It would elevate the flavor and people would go crazy for it. I think if in the area again, I definitely would go back.

Great spot right on the cut with views of Lake Union. Walk up style counter makes it easy. Great margs and tacos!

Phenomenal. Best Mexican food I’ve had in the State. Highly recommend the suadero tacos. Fresh tortillas are delicious. Self serve salsas with a range of spice levels and great service. The atmosphere is fast paced and tables are close together. Worth the wait IMO. If you want to be seated faster opt for whichever seating they have available first. Outdoor seating is a long wait but the view may be worth it for you. You can order food to go. The wild flower margarita was not great. Also, would not recommend the chips and guacamole. Parking is free M-F after 4 and all day Saturday and Sunday but spaces are limited. There is another paid lot close by and some metered street parking available. You can order online as well.

My [now] husband and I used to live just north of the U District over a decade ago when we were first dating and went to Agua Verde regularly for kayaking, dinner, and cocktails. Well, fast-forward 13 years and we now live in far south Seattle and don’t often find ourselves north of the ship canal, but we had a rare date night away from our kids so we decided to revisit our old haunt and return to Agua Verde for another kayaking + dinner date. And how overjoyed we were that we did! We were blown away by the hospitality we received. From the get-go, Audrey, the host, made us feel very welcome and impressively tracked the various guests waiting for tables. Then, as we were putting in our order and presented an ancient gift card someone had given us for our wedding many years ago, Georgia, the cashier, and Sergio, the manager, worked tirelessly to figure out how to translate it to use in their modern system, especially since we couldn’t remember the amount that had been loaded onto it, lol. We would have understood if they had told us it was just too old to use, but they worked diligently to figure out a way to let us pay with it and were more than generous with the amount they ultimately credited us for it. We shared the story with them of where the gift card had come from and how we used to be Agua Verde regulars ages ago, and they proceeded to treat us like royalty, going above and beyond to check on us during the meal and our wonderful server, Anya, even delivered a complimentary flan to help us celebrate our return to the restaurant. The food was just as delicious as we had remembered (maybe even more so!) and the sunset was dreamy. We had such a special evening and commend Agua Verde and their team for being such a gem of a restaurant in Seattle. We will be back (hopefully sooner this time!). Thank you!

Came hear to celebrate my birthday and we were very happy with our decision. The decor, lighting and atmosphere were definitely authentic. The food was amazingly delicious. I ordered the blackened cod burrito and took a couple bites and was blown away by how much flavor was in it. We also had the chicken burrito and the Enchiladas Estilo Esqites. Highly recommend this place

Good food by the water. Fast service but it is a bit expensive! We really enjoyed the chips served on the side Try to get a spot by the water because it is definitely worth it!

Came here after the OSU v Washington football game and the line was out the door. We waiting outside for a good 10-15 mins and upon entering, we ordered with the host and got a number and was sat down quickly. Within 5 mins - our food arrived at our table and it was delicious! As busy as they were at that time, the staff were all friendly. I loved their open salsa bar. Atmosphere was great since the restaurant was on the lake!

The chicken bowl was okay but it was super cheesy. You get to choose from three different sauces for your nacho dip. While the food is decent, the view is immaculate. It’s right next to the water so you get to see the blue reflections as you eat which is quite the PNW experience.
